The wall seems to just be a beam moving in front of a part. To remake something visibly similar, you’d need a wall base (shown in red) and two parts containing attachments (shown in white)
Add a beam inside one of the attachments, and set it’s Attachment0 and Attachment1 to the attachments in the parts.
Here are pictures of the Explorer view and the settings on the beam:
To change the width, you’d adjust the Width0 and Width1 settings until it’s as tall as the wall, and you can use whatever texture (although you may have to play around with it a bit). From there it’s just adjusting colors and possibly scripting it.
Hope this helps! :]
Thanks, but this just seems like how to add a beam, im not sure how to make the effect
Ah, I see. I’d recommend looking for some different beam textures and finding one similar to what you want. After that, it would just be adjusting the different brightness settings. Just as an example, I picked an arrow texture for the beam, and changed it’s color and settings.
Here’s a pic of the settings:
There aren’t many specific I can give, depending on the texture you use you’ll probably have to play around with it a bit. If you’re also going for the glowing effect, I recommend setting the texture of the wall to neon.
Thanks, ill try it out
type or paste code here
Thanks! i got the vertical bars moving, but how do i get the transparent effect
To get the transparent effect, the texture used would need to have a faded edge to it. I recommend looking for similar textures to what’s used in the video, if that’s what you’re going for.
Btw, it looks great! :]
