How to make two parts with meshes one part with a mesh?

Hey developers,
So i’m trying to make 2 parts 1 part, but you can’t union them because they are parts. I’ve tried mesh-parts but it messes up the texture. Does anyone know how to do this and keep the textures the same?

Thanks!

select both parts and press ctrl G.

well idk about that but the best way i can think is just group them in one model or CTRL+G

I want to use a viewportframe to render them but the second part is always offset.

Could you be more specific? You can union parts so I am not sure what you are trying to do. It would also help if you elaborated on how the mesh parts messed up your texture.

If the texture is stretching then that is just how mesh parts work. Many 3D software automatically tile the texture when it exceeds the bounds of the mesh rather than stretching the texture to fit, however, Roblox does not have that feature as far as I know.

Yes. I tried using blender but my computer sucks so I didn’t download it.
Here is the error I am getting:

You can’t union them because the mesh inside has a FileMesh instead of it being set to “Block, sphere, cylinder, wedges, and corners”
If you want the hat and the duck to be together, you could just try welding the hat to the duck. They will still be 2 different parts, but they’ll be stuck together.

I already tried that, the problem is the hat is offset in the viewportframe, and if I remove the meshes then I won’t have a texture.

Please someone help!

Group them then export the model. Hop in blender and export the model as an obj file(There are older versions of blender that your pc can handle) and then import it again to roblox.

I don’t want to use blender as my pc hates blender and won’t run it.
I have gave up on this idea and just started making icons instead. Thank you for giving me your idea though!

You can download older versions of blender(i use old version too cause my pc is also crap).

If grouping them doesn’t work, try exporting both of them as OBJ files and then importing them into some simple modeling software like Tinkercad. Then you can export the entire model as a new OBJ file and import it into Roblox again

Tinkercad is a better alternative for crap computers like mine, imo

I also have a crap pc with a gc card of like 2005
