How to not connect touching parts textures

The Building Support sub-category is intended for all development support relating to architecture on the Roblox platform. This includes questions ranging in difficulty from extremely basic to even the most technical of issues.

You may present your thread how you choose, but you are required to answer the following questions in your thread;

  • What are you attempting to achieve? (Keep it simple and clear)
    I am trying to achieve an affect that makes it look like a wall is made of panels and looks like this without the extra part in the middle

  • What is the issue? (Keep it simple and clear - Include screenshots/videos/GIFs if possible)
    Whenever I put parts next to each other they look like one part and don’t have anything separating them

    There are two parts here, but it looks like one

  • What solutions have you tried so far? (Have you searched for solutions through the Roblox Wiki yet?)

You may then include any further details.

The simplest way to do it is by using a thin part in-between but you can also try drawing on lines/panels onto the texture if you are using one.

Maybe make a small bevel cut on the outer corner edge

Are you using a surface textire?

I did this in blender and it adds the effect im looking for
