How To Override Animation Editor Transform To Current Frame/Pose

So I want to animate a object relative to another object (gun to hand), but roblox doesnt have that feature in there animator, so i am welding the a clone of the gun to the hand and getting the CFrame from that, With that CFrame i then applied it to the current pose, which works but doesnt show up, as the animator itself is setting the Transform,
closing the animator then selecting another Rig then back would fix this but is there another way?

Why can’t you just animate using the welded gun as part of the character?

i need to animate the gun with out it being attached to the hand too
