How to prevent decompilers from stealing scripts and assets?

So I have made multiple assets and I do not want a little kid to just steal them then sell them and make a profit. How Would I protect my assets? I don’t want them to be leaked.

I do not think there is a real solution to this, just agree that it happens.
Maybe anti-exploit can help, not sure.

Maybe some time in the future, Roblox will have some sort of protection, but I do not guarantee of course.

It’s not possible to protect assets in Roblox games as it is required for these to get sent to the client.

There isn’t really a proper way to do this, you will always have the people that go the extra mile to try and steal your stuff.

There is one solution, which has worked for many people, they used some special “Discord Roblox” Whitelist system, (they are called MSI). Might be worthwhile taking a look into but you are required to pay for a whitelist on their system.

The only other option would just to be to get your name out there really, try to promote your stuff so people know it is yours and they can easily identify a stolen asset. Unless, you want to try and have some sort of logo visible on a users screen, that is deeply embedded in the code, that allows people to know that you made that asset.

Other than that, not much to do unfortunately

This logo can be removed easily.

Where can I find this? MSI Discord thing?

I’m aware, that’s why I suggested other things too.

MSI can be found via their group,

From there, you can find the other details.

I’d be careful as it seems sketchy and how do they even do it?

Quite a sophisticated system, it involves discord, roblox and offsite verification. They are heavily trusted in securing products, you can investigate them yourself if you’d like.

Basically, you provide them the product, they secure it for you, then you can add the whitelist to specific users/games. I’ve tried it myself as an example, the asset is completely useless when MSI is in it. (I’m not associated with them so don’t take this as a plug)

However, it’s likely bypassable.
