Hello! i recently made this simple wall and yes its plain. i was wondering on what to put onto it and other future walls i make.
Add some bars (Literally parts that separates a part of the wall to the other)
And add some “bricks” or use a different material.
Shading/darkening, rips/tears, textures, bricks like stated above, posts/columns to just add more of a constructive feel. If you need examples of any let me know.
I found that to fill up flat and empty walls placing simple lines, pillars, bars, or other structures can do a lot for a build. Things like decals and textures can also help break up emptiness if they’re fitted to the material and style of your wall. Another thing that can break up flat areas is adding depth through the use of union engravings in the wall or the structures I mentioned above sticking out of the wall. This can make your build feel more realistic and less boring.
These methods can also, of course apply to other areas of your build like the ceiling.
It’s all about the details you put into it
Just try out wall trim and bigger windows. Also you can bevel the walls trims. I was too lazy to show you though.
