Ever wanted the old mobile avatar editor back? Well now you can!
(Desktop app only)
In the files of the roblox player you can find some of the places used in the desktop app. This includes the avatar editor! (Old and new)
So what you can do with this is edit the place file to whatever you want! Now for this I just put in the old editor background for now.
If you want to put this template as your editor background then the link to the game will be linked here:
If you have BTRoblox, you should find the download button here:
(If you don’t, click edit and download the place file from there)
Now that you have the file you need to replace the old background file with the new one.
File paths
I am not completely sure about where roblox is located on Windows, if I am wrong please correct me
The file should be located somewhere under:
Roblox App/Contents/Resources/ExtraContent/places/
Windows:
The roblox app should be found here:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Roblox
Mac:
The roblox app should be found here:
/Applications/Roblox
And to open the files right click and go to “Show package contents”
Here you should find this:
Make sure you remove/delete this file and replace it with the new one.
MAKE SURE THE FILE IS NAMED “Mobile.rbxl” OR ELSE THIS WILL NOT WORK
Then open the desktop app, go to the avatar editor and it should look something like this.
REMEMBER: THIS ONLY WORKS IN THE DESKTOP APP
It is known that R15 characters shift your position but it is a problem with roblox itself and can’t be solved simply.
If you have any issues feel free to leave a reply with your problem.
