How to reach a younger audience in your game

Hey devs,

I like to call myself a semi-good builder, but I need some help. Whenever I build something, I always try to make it overly realistic and towards topics that aren’t highly appealing for a younger audience. What types of games and styles do you recommend for attempting to reach a younger audience?

feel like low poly is the way to go if your aiming towards a younger audience
not a gun aim
and the game type should be like a game like adopt me or bloxburg

In builds do low-poly and bright colors. For game genre so either tycoon or simulator, younger kids like these types of games. Also make lots of gamepasses or it’s not a simulator lol

Yeah I agree. Also, old jailbreak wasn’t so flashy, low-poly, and neon colors.

But new jailbreak is a lot more targeted towards a younger audience.

Both points are good for simulators and younger audience.

How to reach a younger audience in your game? It can be difficult to find the right skills and assets inside a game to make the game appealing towards a younger audience. Most young audiences want games with a certain set skill such as a simulator. They also love cartoony style towards the game, younger audiences since love cartoons. :slight_smile:

There are a lot of options that come into play with this sort of question, the style comes down to your preference if you take a look at the front page games you will see what younger audiences are grasping more towards.

You should take a look at already existing games and see what grasp a younger audience. Players like to play a variety of different games, it could always depend on what players play the most such as options; (simulators - tycoons obbys,).

Since your more towards targeting a young audience, there are variety of simple games that grasp a younger audience simple mechanics with something fun to enjoy. What I suggest is try designing a simple game loop and go from there finding a style is occasionally up to you.
