Hello, I was wondering what would be the best way to create a “slash on hit” effect for things like swords and combat, where the character that takes damage will have a slash over them. I haven’t been able to find anything on how to create this effect online, but I’ve found a few videos like the one below.
As you can see, an effect appears on the dummy when it is hit but I’m not sure what the best way to recreate this would be.
