Items such as clothing and models cannot be deleted or even archived by the creator themselves (this itself needs fixing 
), I am pretty sure there is / was a way to request for items to be deleted, how and where can I do this?

I believe that you are able to submit a Support Ticket to request for your items to be taken down, here. Somewhere like Moderation > Report Content Breaking Rules.
Contact copyright_agent@roblox.com and send them the links to the clothing items that you want to have deleted.
And also go to Roblox Support and categorize your form under DMCA > Asset Removal Request, and send them the links to the clothing items that you want to have deleted.
