How to rig an animated object?

I am trying to create one of those rock piles that teeter and fall on the player when they get too close.


This is my model.

It consists of 3 parts I want to animate, being the bottom, middle, and top rocks. I have tried to use RigEdit lite to rig the parts together like this.

However, when I try to use the animation editor, I can’t select the bottom part (The primary) and rotating the mdidle part causes the top and bottom to rotate instead of the middle itself.

Is there anyone who knows how I could do this properly?

You’d better use physics instead of animations for this.
