How to separate blender objects separately into studio?

Hello,

I made a pack of trees, I exported as .obj and everything was great, and the mesh went great too.
I wanted to know how to export them as a pack and import them as a pack. Because the problem is that the entire pack of trees is stuck to 1 mesh, like 1 object in studio.
Someone correct me if I am wrong but my guess from what I have been looking at is:

  1. Export each tree as a .obj
  2. Bake each texture as a different img file
  3. Import them each individually and link each img file individually.
This works obviously but man is it a huge pain to do this and cause so much more extra work.
The only problem with doing it as a pack is I have zero options to separate the mesh from another tree.
Studio sees the entire pack as 1 .obj.

Any help is appreciated!

Are you using the new import 3d tool? It’s under the Avatar tab.

Since you are exporting as .OBJ, make sure to check this:

Uncheck .OBJ Objects also.

In case the models are actually models which aren’t under a modification. You can use .obj as the tool for your exporting needs.

Export > Wavefront (.obj) > Uncheck OBJ Objects that is set by default and check the OBJ Groups.
