How to set up an IK R15 Rig in Blender using `Blender Animations` plugin?

I know how to set up the IK for the legs, but I can’t figure out how to do it for the arms without it acting all weird. Here is what I mean:
Let’s say I want the knee to bend, I set up IK and do it something like this:

1: I move the Foot’s Target to the desired location

2: I then rotate Lower Leg’s bone to bend correctly like this

But when I try those exact same steps for the arms, it ends up like this.

Any solution to this? I am very new to IK in Blender, so tips would be appreciated.

After a lot of bone rotations, I got it to bend a bit more naturally, but that was a lot of work and it still doesn’t look good.

i honestly want to know how to get it on the legs. the blender plugin doesnt work. at all when it comes to ik.

Saying it doesn’t work at all is exagerated, I suspect you don’t understand how to work with IK, but here is a good video @GarnetMorningstar made that will help with this problem.
