My game is on Alpha test phase, and I need to start testing with other players.
But as it may still have a lot of bugs, currently I don’t want to open the experience to everyone.
So I would like to know if there is any way to start these tests with just a few volunteer players, preventing other different players from joining the game (for now)?
Theres a QA testing discord server you should join.
Can’t find. Do you have the link?
I wont send the discord invite link but try this .gg/Y5NzJK5j6Q
I’d suggest you making the group private and invite a few DevForum members here.
QA central is a lot more open so you’ll still have to fully publish your game in order to have it tested.
Maybe it’s not a group game. How can you be sure it is?
This is what I do from the beginning.
But I need other people to test it, with no knowledge of what they will see, as this will be the reality when the game is officially released.
Also, the game uses a lot of multiplayer interaction between multiple servers, so I need a few players playing simultaneously.
Apparently, I have to pay R$100 to create a group, right?
Yes, but if you don’t have enough Robux you can get Robux from a pls donate game, I created my group with some Robux I got from a pls donate game.
I still don’t understand the advantage of creating a group to test my game?
I don’t know groups yet, but I saw that there are script functions for “allies” and “enemies”, useless things in the case of tests.
There’s role team create, and permissions which makes API configurations easier.
Plus, group payouts have no tax.
100 Robux is absolutely nothing compared to the benefits a group can bring.
