How to stop Skinned Mesh Character from bouncing after it jumps?

How can I stop my skinned mesh character from bouncing after it jumps?

Whenever I land from a jump, there is a small bounce. I have looked at other posts that said stuff about changing the hip height or anchoring after it lands, but none of them have worked.
