I updated my character on Roblox and it didn’t update here. How can I update it? Or can you not?
Also, is it possible to upload a custom avatar?
You can’t have a custom avatar because anybody can sign up for a non-member account, so moderation would be very hard.
If you log out and log back in to the dev forums then your avatar with change to your current Roblox character.

They seem to have disabled custom avatars. Probably for the same reason they disabled profile banners; because they cannot be moderated properly and this forum is now open for any roblox user to log in to and change their info.

I wonder if they will make it update to your new avatar when you change it, though.

No, not even RBXdev members can. Only approved people.

As far as I know, only admins can post in the “Public Topics”.
From the posts in it, I’d say it was for announcements, so that ordinary users can check for new stuff, without the ability to access everything else.
