How was this steering mechanic made?

Hello!

Recently i’ve been attempting to recreate roblox’s steering mechanic, using their Buggy vehicle from the “Racing” game template.
But i’ve been running into issues, seeing apparently they use a prismaticconstraint to push the wheels left to right:

LeftTurn

and as you can see, there’s an attachment on the back of the tire, which pushes it left to right.
But… this should be impossible? shouldn’t it rotate with the tire as it spins?

Does anyone know how roblox did this?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I took the buggy to my mechanic, put it up on a block, and looking at the properties, it is attached to the Knuckle, not the wheel, …

after making the knuckle wider and turning trans off, hitting the nitro, you can see that the knuckle does not spin while the wheel does…

and the knuckle turns ,which turns the rest …

I sent a reply, but it is being moderated… maybe they will approve it and the mystery will be solved…

is the wheel attached to the knuckle?
how can the knuckle rotate when it’s constrainted to the wheel?

I think there was a motor6 … I would have to look at the model again…

the knuckle is not rotation in a circle motion, it is just moving left or rightish…

welds, attachment points, hinges, motor6’s. I’m pretty sure there is documentation for that model explaining it that came out with it.
