How would I achieve Mario Kart-style hopping?

I am working on scripting my own kart system and I’ve reached a road block, the drifting works fine, however I can’t do hopping correctly.

I tried :ApplyImpulse() on the chassis, but if I make the impulse too great, it hops nicely, but when turning, the car flips, if I make it too small, the car won’t hop too well (so basically removing the point of hopping) but the car will still be able to turn without falling.

Can anyone help?

Do you mean the car will flip over when hopping/jumping?
Is the car always supposed to be upright? Or is it able to spin sideways?
I’m not too familiar with Mario kart so it would be great if there is a video to showcase this.
