How would i achieve this effect

    i want to make a decal that stretches to make sure its always against a surface, an example in studio with parts:

    i have absolutley no clue how id do this beside maybe the idea of using bones on a part

  2. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?
    NONE, i have no found anything on this subject

for the example can u take a screenshot from a different point, it looks straight

id sugest using a sticker in regretevator because it’;d be hard unless i took a vid

ok then maybe try making a union that stretches and add a decal?

how would you stretch a union?

i meant like in ur 1st picture if those parts are seperate, make them a union and add a decal

i think i could use jointing parts, but itd require ALOT of bones

i’m gonna assume they used raycasting & a flat plane with plenty of bones.

i have some code worked out to do this effect, but the plane i have dosent have enough bones to correctly deforme around parts, sadly with my lack of blender skills i have no clue how i would create a plane with more bones attached to it
