I want to make a rig for every character thats kinda like anime (like genshin impact and world zero) but the game will also have armor. In this game you can customize your height and body type hair eyes and etc. Its seems pretty cool but with one issue. I don’t know how to make the armor so when equipped it auto fits to the body (and not look like cursed layered clothing that looks weird.) Yes I could make different versions for different body types (but I am not doing that for like 30 / 40 body types for each armor ;-; ) Basically what I am asking is ideas of how to overcome this problem (like I mentioned before an example would be auto-fitting armor to the body type but I don’t know how to do that) Once you have an idea please state how I would do that because rigging isn’t really an area I am good at. Anything helps!

One way you can make the armor fit is just by resizing the armor mesh/model based off of the characters size with some fancy math (which i have no idea how to do lol)
