How would I expand my terrain map?

So I am still beginning to work on my game, and I know I am going to make map expansions for it, because it is an open-world game. But how am I supposed to do a map expansion? I know how to transfer the builds and scripts; I put them in my toolbox, but how would I make the map “continue”? For example my map right now contains half a mountain. How would I expand my map so the expansion contains the other half of the mountain? I want the map expansions to do that. My map was generated with Quadspinner GAEA.

To expand your map all you have to do is go into roblox studio then go to workspace press on it, you should see something called baseplate press on it now if you look at the bottom where it shows the colors and material keep scrolling until you see lock when you see its locked just unlock it by presses the check mark(make sure that there is no check mark beside it) and boom you can make it bigger or smaller. here’s a youtube tutorial just in case video.

Sorry I didn’t make it clear. I want to expand my terrain map, not the baseplate.

Use the terrain tools? I’m not sure what you’re thinking you have to do.

I’m thinking they may be wanted to make like an auto terrain generator?

You would like to expand your terrain in your game?

Quite simple, you enter ROBLOX Studio.
Thus you look at the tabs visible on the top of your screen:
Click on “View” > “Terrain Editor”.

Footage:

You then get creative with your terrain tools.

Thank you, but I want to randomly generate terrain that aligns with my already generated terrain.

A similar option can be found in the terrain tools.

He is used third party softwares. As he stated in his post, he is using Quadspinner Gaea.

My assumptions were that it was a plugin.

You would have to use Quadspinner Gaea, or just use the manual tools.
