How would I fill in the gap in my island outline

  • What are you attempting to achieve? (Keep it simple and clear)
A big island map made with parts

  • What is the issue? (Keep it simple and clear - Include screenshots/videos/GIFs if possible)
I made a outline for my island map with parts but I don’t know how to fill the inside gap up, I have not build a project this big before so I have no idea.

  • What solutions have you tried so far? (Have you searched for solutions through the Roblox Wiki yet?)
I tried to use the gap fill plugin but it made a lot of wedges and it is hard to work with.

(I have to fill in the spaces in side the outline)

If you know the best way to solve this please reply.

i would suggest to start with the middle of the island. What type of island would it be? beach? forest? Start by using the type of material. Personnaly, i would add a land made of grass at the center. Then, i would add some trees. After it, i would probably add a stone area with rocks and a beach

Yes but that’s not a problem, the problem is that I have the outline of the island and I don’t know how to fill it up because the island is in weird shape so I can’t just use normal square part to fill it in. I can’t just use normal part to fill it in cause then some part would go outside of the island outline, I don’t know if I explain it well enough. I am bad at explaining things. I could just change the island to be more square shape, no curves just alot of corner but I don’t know it that would look good or not.

What you can do to make a squarish island which doesn’t looks squarish is:

  1. add some square for the base
  2. add rocks all around the borders with different size and rotation

With this plugin, you can click on each of the corners of your terrain, add a node, and then fill it with triangular “Wedge” parts. You can drag nodes around after placement so you don’t have to reapply new geometry every time you want to adjust something.

Should go something like this:

Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion guys, but I decided to make the island a bit less detail and use the triangle terrain plugin to fill the gap up.
