I was looking around and i was wondering, after looking at a lot of thisfall’s stuff, how would i remake this. I’ve seen how he says he made them (gradient then blurred edges), but i am looking for what program he could have used.
In this image, The light is on a billboard GUI, but im asking what to use to make whats on the gui.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated 
You can use Photoshop, but if you don’t have the money, I’d suggest using GIMP

What if you:
Make a grey background, overlayed it with white and just make parts transparent until you like it?
My guess is that it’s a imagelabel with a gradient as the imageid, background transparency is set to 1 and maybe the image transparency has been tuned with, it’s overlapping the main image.
