How would I go about improving my Psychological Horror Game's map?

As the title says, how would I go about improving my PHG’s map.

Here are some screenshots.

Personally, it’s decent enough for players to maybe barely complain, but I’m still quite unsatisfied by this map.

Any feedback or adive is greatly appreciated!

I don’t know your plans with this game, but if there is no music perhaps a subtle chirping noise from a direction in the nearby grass could really help it out.

If there is a body of water nearby some toads could help the sound ambiance as well.

( just re-checked this comment I typed 5 mins after I woke up and realized it was almost unreadable)

I think what you’re looking for is a sense of style.

Just think about the emotions you want the players to feel, solidify the mechanics, and mold the map to fit that.

Example; a game that uses a lot of dread and claustrophobia to execute its horror would do better with a compact, tight map using subtle sound queues and sparse lighting.

If you want to make them feel, like they are not alone, make lighting darker.
Otherwise it is decent and there isnt a thing that got into my mind that would make it better.
