How Would I Go About Making A Cloak With Dynamic Cloth

You can write your topic however you want, but you need to answer these questions:

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!

    I want to make a cloak that can go fully around the character but still have the affects that something like a dynamic cape would have (getting wind under it when the player jumps, flying back when they walk, etc). Please let me know if its too ambitious or if I’m overcomplicating it!

  2. What is the issue? Include enough details if possible!

    I don’t know how to go about it nor are there any videos that explicitly explain how.

  3. What solutions have you thought of so far?

    I’ve watched a lot of dynamic cloth videos in general and thought about animating the cloak with smartbones for each individual animation (jump, run, etc…)

After that, you should include more details if you have any. Try to make your topic as descriptive as possible, so that it’s easier for people to help you!

Why not use the SmartBones 2 module and let physics handle it all? When you use smartbones there is no animation its all physics.
