How would i go about making a Mario Kart-Esque Racing Game?

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
    I wish to make a racing game sorta similar to Mario Kart, i just don’t know how i would do it.

  2. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!
    The only issue i have is:
    Kart Movement
    Items

  3. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?
    I’ve been searching around on the DevHub for a bit, but i’ve found nothing.

I would appreciate some help, i’ve been wanting to do this for a long time now!

I reckon items could just be a case of having item boxes put the powerup in the players backpack. It would be easy to check if they already have an item in there to avoid stacking up items, however that would also allow for custom races where item stacking is allowed as an option.

Karts don’t need to be anything special. Heck, depending on your needs you can easily make them with A-Chassis.
