So I have an island, and I want to make it have waves flowing up against it. How would I go about this?
The simplest solution that comes to my mind is to upload a wave image to Roblox and use code to create a repeating wave animation on top of the water, where the shoreline is. The game “Age of Mythology” does just this:
If you were to go with this method, you may need to lower the wave size of water in Roblox to prevent the water from clipping through the wave images.
Alternatively, you could increase the wave size of Roblox water and leave it at that, though that would amplify the wave-iness of all water in the game.
(Roblox water properties can be found in the Terrain object in the Workspace.)
Hope this helped!
Four years later my guy . Its not even a tutorial.

i was just suggesting particles I thought it was self explanatory
Thank you and I’d like to inform you that I’ve since gained a considerable amount of skill in making beaches
