How would i go about making this effect?

hi, I’ve been trying to find a way to make this kind of effects, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it.
the one I’m trying to replicate right now is the particles that gets smaller into the player (0:01 - 0:02 timestamp)

Update:
After asking one of my friend on how i could make this effect, he figured it out and told me that the particle needs to be a “center going outward” shape. I then made my own image for this particle.

To make that you will have to emit them by script

If you are talking about the particle images you need to do it via Photoshop
