How would I improve my game?

I want our game to be reviewed for rebalancing/making it better

  1. What is the issue? Include enough details if possible!

I’ve gotten reviews that it’s either boring or mid, I’m not sure what makes it those but Im feeling something that agrees with it

  1. What solutions have you thought of so far?

I’ve thought of adding more mechanics to play with the users but it might become too complicated making it even worse

Give us your honest opinion of our game, even brutal ones, these could help improve the game.

Great game, 9/10.
Here’s my review:
Graphics: 90/100
Sound Effects: 95/100
Optimization: 100/100
New User Friendly: 65/100
Fun: 70/100

Optimization is great, about 30~ FPS on a low-end PC, 1650 Ti Mobile.
The only small thing I recommend is a loading screen.
As a new player to the game, I got confused on what to do at some parts, you should add a better tutorial with text. (I know you have one which are the arrows, but I prefer the tutorials with text.)
The game is kind of fun, it takes too long for the pet to hatch though so you should add a mechanic where if you feed it a specific item, it grows faster. This game reminds me of Take care of a Floppa or something like that, take some notes from that game as it’s pretty fun!
The game is balanced enough though.

i see even with arrows some people prefer a different method (which I overlooked) for a tutorial

i have a feeling the timer is too overwhelming for its amount, what if it were to say, changed to: “Age: 10.5” instead as time it grows?

The pet does get hatch faster the more it eats depending on the quality/food value

i however might add another boost instead where:
the 1st ever food you fed it will be the amount of time reduce booster.
