The title basically explains it all.
Try changing the lighting preset when a character is outside, and changing to a different one when the character is inside.
I figured that out.
I was wondering how I would implement this, probably using .Touched
or the zone module will work too)
Too broad on what you want to accomplish but I’m guessing zone module + add instance values into folders for each preset would suit what you’re looking for.
You would need a very rigid definition of outdoors and indoors. Then code something capable of distinguishing. I’m assuming you mean camera indoors and not just character (but character might make more sense if it’s top down).
To determine what’s indoors you need a good definition of that too? Is having the camera underneath a part indoors? Do they have to be in a specific building?
This type of thing tends to be difficult to define. Your probably best off creating parts (or zones as mentioned) that are determined to be inside and activating the secondary lighting conditions when the player is in those.
Sorry for not being more specific, my issue is that when the character is indoors, The lighting seems to not work at all.
I am assuming this is the module you all are referring to?
This is the module I was referring to. Someone might make a better one soon enough.
Wdym it doesn’t work at all?
It just looks very ugly and some textures don’t appear.
