How would I make beam disappears with a tycoon button?

Hey, I’m trying to make a button with a beam in my tycoon game,
image

and I’m looking how can I make beam disappears when player purchases an object.

I created a simple script that was supposed to compare transparency of button and apply it on a beam but it doesn’t work. ( I’m new to scripting and also it’s my first contact with beams etc, still learning.)

while true do
	script.Parent.Transparency = script.Parent.Parent.Parent.Head.Transparency
end

Any tips or ideas what should I do or what to change?

Are you tweening the transparency of the part?
If so you should just tween the transparency of the beam as well.

If you are using a NumberSequence.new({}) for the transparency then have to variables like so

local VisStart = 0
local VisEnd = 1
Beam.Transparency = NumberSequence.new({
NumberSequenceKeypoint.new(0,VisStart),
NumberSequenceKeypoint.new(1,VisEnd)
})

Then once you have something like this just increase the visStart value two make it go invisible.

You can also just destroy it if its not being used.

That is true but I assume he wants it to fade out just like the base, Then he can delete it

I tried NumberSequence like this:

local text = script.Parent.Parent.BillboardGui.TextLabel
local beam = script.Parent

if text.Transparency == 1 then
	beam.Transparency = NumberSequence.new(1)
elseif text.Transparency == 0 then
	beam.Transparency = NumberSequence.new(0)
end

because GUI works somehow with head transparency
GUI script:

while wait() do
	script.Parent.TextTransparency = script.Parent.Parent.Parent.Head.Transparency
end

now beam disappear but doesn’t show up when button appears

what is my mistake?

I’m using free zednov tycoon kit, there full purchase handler script with include button scripts:
