How would I make a glow effect like this?
I recommend messing around with the âNeonâ Texture. That should do the trick! If you wanted it exactly like the photo you provided, you could put a neon part around the part you wish to âglowâ (the neon part would be slightly larger than the âmainâ one) and then mess around with the transparency of that part.
Higlight effect, I believe itâs called.
That outlines, not glows lol thank you though
I will try this! lolololololololololololololo - Character count sorry
You can use a neon part and mess around with the bloom lighting setting in
Lighting.
Hi, I think you can get this effect by either,
- Messing around with the neon material properties as the partâs Reflectance/Transperancy.
- Mess around with the world âBloomâ effect inserted in âLightingâ.
- Insert lights into mesh/part and position them in a way they reflect their light off the mesh/part so you should have a glowy-like light outline.
Etc.
There may be other ways to do this, but hope this helps.
If you add several surface lights on each surface and adjust the range and brightness it should make the same effect.
