How would I rotate a RootPart

  1. I’m using a custom rig (imported from blender), when I imported the rig the rootParts orientation was “0,-90,0”, if it was looking forward it would be “0,0,0”. But when you try to change the rotation the armature on the rig is completely messed up. How would I change the rootPart orientations without moving the characters armature/rotating.

  2. I’ve tried blatantly changing the orientation, but this resulted in the armature being

Destroy the rootpart to torso connection, orient it correctly, then reconnect them.

It’s a custom rig. Like a skeleton.

I dont do skeleton rigging so all i can say is fix it on blender someway and export it again

Yeah, I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to do that. Thanks btw, I’ll see if it works later.

Could you use the Pivot Tools Edit Pivot Editor to rotate the Pivot 90 degrees?
Or, as @keremMCT said, just rotate the model’s orientation in Blender…

I tried that, but for some reason it still stayed the same direction. I’ll redo it though just to make sure.
