I want to make a ui where you can select a map and then teleport you to the same place but to a server where that map is active or create a server with that map, I don’t wanna make seperate subplaces for the maps since if i wanted to update main systems and other stuff i would need to do it on every map.
I just wanna know where to start, I’ve looked on google for solutions but I can’t find any that would make this work.
edit: i’ve changed the approach i wanna take so that the map selector and everything would be in the starter place then the actual “game” would be a subplace, but i still want it to assign a map to that server and make sure the player gets teleported to a server which has that map
You could use memorystores and reserved servers (and probably a custom player list) to create servers and teleport players to servers and using the memorystore tell the server what map to load when creating one and then also using the memorystore you can keep a list of existing servers
