How would you get the rotation based on 2 2D points?

  1. What do you want to achieve?
    I am trying to find the rotation direction(0 to 360) from 2 points, the center of the screen, and the mouse position onscreen.

  2. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!
    I have tried everything I can by myself, and have not found anything similar on the forum.

  3. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?
    Many combinations of math and haven’t worked out for me.

If that isn’t enough information then I’ll elaborate.

Here is a picture example, A being the center of the screen, and B being the mouse.(I know how to get the 2 positions, I do not know what to do with them.)

Found the solution myself.

local ScreenSize = Player.PlayerGui.ScreenScale.AbsoluteSize
local CenterX = ScreenSize.X/2
local CenterY = ScreenSize.Y/2
local Center = Vector2.new(CenterX, CenterY)
local MousePos = Vector2.new(mouse.X, mouse.Y)
local Rotation = MousePos - Center
local angley = (Vector2.new(math.atan2(Rotation.Y, Rotation.X)) * 180 / math.pi)
