I use A-Chassis as my vehicle system in my game, and I notice that for, lets say, player a, player a’s car looks absolutely smooth for them, no lag whatsoever, while player b sees that player a’s car is abit choppy when player a’s car is travelling at high speeds.
Is there any way to combat this? It is practically the only reason I cant enable collisions for other cars, otherwise the lag problem would absolutely cause chaos.
No you can’t solve this necessarily. When any client claims ownership over a part, that part should be smooth on their client. This will not replicate onto other clients. Whoever has a crappy laggy car, probably has a bad internet connection. Someone who has a good internet connection should look smooth on other clients unless those other clients have a bad internet connection, causing the client that owns the car to look slow.
So, your internet connection could be slow, or the car drivers internet could be slow (or other reasons it is slow for any clients.)
