HP reverb G2 thumbsticks do not work on Roblox VR

I don’t know if this is the right place to put it but its a problem with either roblox or steamvr or both.

When trying to bind the thumbstick position in steamvr, it says that their are no vector 2 actions available (https://i.imgur.com/TgABKiq.png)
therefore, I you can’t bind any position to the controllers making you unable to do anything with joysticks past clicking them. when going to see what actions are unbinded, you can see that there are four vector1 actions that represent x and y for both controllers (https://i.imgur.com/fTxR1wU.png)

this is my first post on the forum, so if I’m making any mistakes or its hard to read sorry, but ive been trying to make Roblox vr work on my headset for weeks now with no success and just want to get it solved by anybody

Still an issue. SteamVR sees the thumbsticks as Vectors in the keybinds when it should be seeing it as a Vector2. If they were changed to a Vector2 there would be functional support.

I looked it up and could someone good enough with openxr api layers somehow make it work? if its possible at all then I might try but I want a second opinion

It would 100% work but Roblox themselves screwed up the keybind. I’m working on a fix for this though, Ill keep everyone updated.

Nope, its been 3ish years with no support for the index alone. From what it looks like they wont fix it unless someone in their VR department does something. I’ve tried to do the openXR layers but I don’t have a reverb so it would be painful to test.
