When I first open my experience in Studio I get a solid 60 FPS, with an FPS unlocker it can even reach up to 200 FPS. No drops whatsoever, however if I play test, test what I was testing and then exit the frame rate gets absolutely decimated, hitting as low as 20 FPS and it won’t exceed 30 FPS at all.

I’ve attached a screenshot below of the framerate when the experience is first opened in Studio mode, and the framerate after play testing
Expected behavior
I would obviously expect the framerate to remain the same, the fact that it’s dipping down below 30 FPS makes navigating around my place a lot more difficult because it’s impossible to not notice the delay between frames. I’m aware my place is a rather large game, but if it runs fine when I open Studio why is it suddenly decimating performance after play testing. Do I really have to reload Studio every time I play test?
are you saying inside playtest or when you come out of it [i assume you mean when u come out but just making sure] if it is after exiting are you saying it lasts forever until you reload studio?
i have a similar issue where if i test [any type team, solo, even run] and then i exit it will exit after about 2-5 seconds, but the next 2 minutes studio will be very buggy and laggy. after the 1-2 minutes it freezes for about 2 seconds and then fixes itself. my game is pretty laggy already, but i tested this on a baseplate and it still lagged :/ the weirder thing is;
if i try to copy said glitch on my alt it still works, but my friend says his doesn’t lag at all (we edit the same game, and once again it worked on a baseplate so idk)
i hope your glitch gets fixed.
Hi Collect1ve- bouncing back to this older issue. I was wondering if you’ve noticed any uptick in the past few weeks with this behavior. We’ve rolled out a couple Studio performance increases. Honestly a bit of a shot in the dark, but curious if this has improved at all. Thanks!
Ok, thanks. These collective slowdowns are sometimes hard to pinpoint whether one change will affect other things people are seeing, but glad to hear you are moving again.
