HumanoidRootPart issues

I am working on a custom mesh deform rig that uses it’s own bones that were imported from blender. The issue I’m having is that the primary part is called “RootPart” instead of “HumanoidRootPart”.

I animated it fine and uploaded it fine and the animations load onto the character when importing them onto it, but when I try to load the animations in test mode it does not load onto the character.

Has this got anything to do with the rootpart being called “RootPart” instead of “HumanoidRootPart”?

Is one of those scripts the actual animate script?

I’ve actually solved the problem.

Turns out, I just needed to weld every part to it as though the “RootPart” was the “HumanoidRootPart” which fixed my issue.
