Welcome to the Hyatt Staff Handbook! This is where we will go over some staff rules, information, and roles. This will help you get a better understanding on your position here at Hyatt Hotels and Resorts!

Roles

Junior Receptionist
-This is our starter position here at Hyatt! This is a pretty self explanatory role. You will help check users into their room, and help customers if they need any assistance, like how to find their room, and how to open their door.

Experienced Receptionist
-This is our second receptionist position here at Hyatt! This role includes the tasks of a Junior Receptionist, plus help make sure the Junior Receptionists are doing their jobs correctly.

Senior Receptionist
-This is our highest receptionist role. Like Experienced Receptionist, you do the tasks of the lower receptionist jobs, but you are held to the highest standard of the three ranks. You will also need to make sure all the Junior and Experienced Receptionists are doing their job correctly.

Head of Services
This role is one of the more complicated ones. You are able to do receptionist, but you also have to make sure our amenities like the boats are operating properly by making sure they are not glitching, and helping out guests if they need help with them. You are also in charge of helping manage reception, and the security service once we add that.

Supervisor
-This role does pretty much everything that the roles under it do. Supervisors can do reception, and manage the services, but their main sort of task is help host shifts, and to make sure people are doing their job correctly, and making sure customers aren’t causing any trouble.

JOBS BELOW ARE NOT AVAILABLE BY APPLICATION

Shift Manager
-This role’s job is to help make sure supervisors are hosting shifts frequently and are staying active. They are also able, like all the roles below, to do reception. Pretty straight forward

General Manager
-This role is an essential part to the operations here at Hyatt Hotels and Resorts! General Managers are in charge of helping moderate the discord server, as well as in game. They also help with all the roles that the jobs below it have to.

Staff Rules
-Must Listen to the SHR’s
-Treat all guests with the utmost respect
-Must use grammar in game in front of customers
-Must abide by Roblox TOS
-Use common sense

RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Hosting Instructions
1. Visit our trello
2. Put your name on the time you wish to host the shift at, and save the card once you do that
3. At the time of your shift, announce the shift on the group shout and discord server by typing the following:

h!shift - For @here ping (Only one of these a day at the max)
h!shiftnoping - With no ping
(DISCORD ANNOUNCEMENT)

-shout Hyatt Hotels and Resorts | [Shift] | Join now for the PST shift hosted by down at the hotel! | ☀️[LIGHTING!] | Hyatt Hotel v1 - Roblox
(GROUP SHOUT)

  1. Allow up to 10 minutes for a member to join, if nobody comes within that time, you can then end the shift
