I’d love to hear your thoughts on this Retro Diner build so far! What do you think?

I’m currently developing a brand-new game set in a retro diner from the mid-to-late 1960s. There’s still a long way to go—tons of assets to create, scripting to complete, and endless details to refine. Many people have been anticipating this project, as I’ve been discussing it for quite some time. Years ago, I built a more classic brick-style diner, but this time, I want to turn it into an engaging social hangout with interactive features.

I’d love to hear your feedback on what I should add! I already have an extensive list of planned features, but your input is invaluable. I’m open to all forms of constructive criticism to make this the best experience possible.

Additionally, I’m considering building a team to help bring this vision to life. While I have some interested individuals, I want to ensure I can trust the right people for the job. If you’re interested or have any suggestions, let me know! I’m incredibly excited to be working on this project—thanks for reading!

Looks pretty cool to me. A cooking game with this map would be so relaxing

The lighting. The ambience. I just cant…

You recreated the retro vibe perfectly, and I’m amazed by the build quality of the interior. This is definitely one of the best builds I have seen on the DevForum. The outdoor and indoor lighting is so good! If you added some depth of field, I think it would look even better.

I wish you all the best on the game.

Thank you so much, the lighting isn’t complete as I build it within the lighting! Thanks a lot :))

What game is this for? Also very cool! If it’s for a cooling game I would actually play it all day.

No problem! I can’t wait for the release of the game!
