I am trying to make a gear but the texture has a hard line in-between it

I am trying to make a gear with a nice simple gradient texture.

For some reason it splits the texture up. Here are some photos.

I tried projecting it in an orthographic view and I don’t know what to search up to find the answer.

Figured it out! All I had to do was shade it smooth then auto smooth it and that made it look better though, I am still getting the same problem from another object.
