i am using the official web launcher and i have done multiple fixes, none have fixed it.
i’ve looked at many fixes and couldn’t find any for this one scenario.

It worked fine a couple of hours ago. I took a short break and there were no updates, I come back and now all of a sudden, RobloxPlayerBeta simply closes itself instantly in the task process list. It’s definitely crashing as soon as it opens. I have a procdump file to send to staff. There is only 1 log file describing an error code 0 and failure to start the client app every re-installation.
What I’ve already tried:
- Network Reset
- Uninstalled and reinstalled
- Removed every trace of Roblox in AppData / Temp
- Tried a different Roblox user
- Tried a different browser
- Ran Roblox Directly through RobloxPlayerLauncher
- Tried a different windows local user
- Tried Safe mode
- Tried Clean boot
Where it’s working:
- A relative in our house can play Roblox under the same public dynamic ip, different private ip and different pc without issues on a Windows 10 2022H2 version.
- It works on Microsoft Store

Is roblox aware of this yet? I’ve been trying to fix this for a few hours now and nothing has worked, except there are tons of previous forum posts about similar issues.

same here, it was working just fine hours ago and now whenever i try joining a roblox game, robloxplayerbeta appears in the task manager for a few seconds then disappears. i’ve tried basically every fix out there and i still can’t join any games. doesn’t even show any error popups it just silently closes itself

At the time of this reply, a new roblox update was deployed and I can now launch Roblox without issues.
