Try uninstalling Roblox Studio and then delete the Roblox Studio
folder in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local
if you haven’t already.
By the way, this will delete your local plugins so you may want to back them up.
Ok, so I did what you said. I deleted the whole Roblox/Roblox studio folder and reinstalled it.
I now get the verification code when I try to login but still get the same error message.
try opening Command Prompt and run ipconfig/flushdns and run “to make sure it isn’t windows affecting it” run this in command prompt, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth if it said it found an issue when running checkhealth then run DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
now see what happens, if still same issue then just try your best to uninstall roblox entirely even the Temporary files, theres also another location to delete roblox’s data here is how to uninstall left over roblox files
C:\Users[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Roblox\Versions
Delete all folders inside the Versions
folder.
Press Win + R
, type %temp%
, and press Enter.
Delete any Roblox-related files or folders (look for names starting with “Roblox”).
- Press
Win + R
, type%appdata%
, and press Enter. - Navigate to
AppData\LocalLow
. - Delete any folders related to Roblox.
- Also, navigate to
AppData\Local
. - Delete the
Roblox
folder.
Navigate to C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Temp
.
- Delete any files or folders that are related to Roblox.
Now try after restarting your pc
if still with the issue directly contact roblox support by email and see if they can give any solutions if not its best to wait it out
Yeah I did all of that and still have the same issue, I’ve also contacted roblox support but they werent much help.
The only way to fix this I think is to factory reset my PC but I don’t want to do that. So I’m just going to wait and hope it fixes itself. But thanks for the help.
Bumping this post because I still have the same issue.
Bumping this post because I am also having the same issue.
