I can't seem to get the underground feel in my build

The build you’re currently seeing takes place underground. However, it doesn’t feel like it’s underground to me. What do you guys think?

if its an underground facility then maybe some support beams and pillars?

Reference photos always help

To me, what you have here looks pretty fair so far as “feeling underground”- perhaps try working on the atmosphere as well? (Ambient sounds, flickering lights, etc…)

The windows makes it feel like underground, to me, everything else just looks like an ordinary facility. Like they said above, try adding support beams, not just indoors, but also outdoors. Also, try to add an underground feel, such as water dripping sounds, echo’s, you get the idea. You could also add some sort of brown fog, to maybe show that there is dirt in the air? One more thing, the pictures you have sent, that doesn’t look like a normal cave. Most times you are underground you mainly see rocks, and a couple ores, not every section being a different color. Perhaps you can try to change up the outside and you maybe would get that feel of it being underground.

Maybe make it a bit darker, or add more windows showing a dark, underground cave outside.

For the cave shown, make it dark unless you’re going for a salt mine feel or fantasy plants that light up.

Salt Mine:

Salt mines have lots of lights.

I don’t think an underground facility can really look underground, without it looking rundown, as that’s what we see most commonly. I don’t know how we could help with this.

You can make the minerals like shards (maybe like half triangle or all different shapes), they all seem like squares (I am not sure if they are lights or they are diamonds). You can also try making a chat bubble instead the name for your message.

Overall look amazing, keep up your good work!

How’s this?

I hope you like it >.<
