I found a new way to BLUR only PART of the screen while letting you still SEE PARTICLES(doesn't use glass or neon)

You might have seen people blur UI by using depth of field and a glass part behind it, or people blur a sniper scope using glass and depth of field, but the problem with this is that you can’t see transparent objects or particles behind the blur, but i found a new way to do this without glass!

HOW TO DO IT
you need depth of field obviously, and a meshpart, it doesn’t need a mesh id, then add a surface appearance to the meshpart, set the alpha mode to Transparency, and set the colormap id to “rbxassetid://124652808947078”, then set the color to 0,0,0. when you get close to the meshpart, the background will be blurred too.

ALSO the meshpart MUST have 0 Transparency

im pretty sure no one has ever found this.
just to clarify im NOT using a blur instance, so this could be used to only blur part of the screen

this could be used to blur UI by locking the part to the screen, which would be useful because you could still see everything behind the ui, it would just be blurred, including particles and water.
