I got an friend who wants to learn scripting but he is deaf

how can i get documentation or places where he can learn how to script with no videos, do i just use official roblox documentation and make stuff with that??

Reading tutorials is better than watching videos anyway. I personally used documentation and the Roblox cookbook for learning by example when I was starting out.

Yes, I would just use the ROBLOX documentation and tutorials on the devforum here. Looking at the scripts of (reliable) free models is also a good way to learn how things function. It’s absolutely possible to be completely proficient without being able to hear.

Documentation, Devforum, Tutorials, Automated YT subtitles, and goes on. Luckily for your friend most of the information on today’s digital world is visual(such as text and images). That’s why most services develop tools that do the opposite, convert said visual information to sound.

An issue they might encounter is setting the volume of sounds to a preferable value for most players(so all sounds are balanced to each other). I wonder if there’re any plugins out there for visualizing the volume of sounds.

I suggest going through documentation and videos with understandable subtitles. These will help him out, mhm.
