Can’t tell if you have or not but it could be because of the lack of advertisements and audience. It could be that not enough people have seen your game for it to surpass the 500k mark where it’s at right now.
Another reason that this could be could be because of the game itself. There’s other games similar to this that are already popular, (Games such as Wormface) decreasing the chances of yours being played, and I’m not instantly greeted with the basis of the game when I join. I know I can paint my worm and squirm around but that’s about it. Is there any specific goal to the game?
Side note: 700 player worm game? You must’ve done a typo, I would change it to 100 whenever you can lol.
you missed the typo where its called Payer not Player lol
Thanks so much do you know how I would make those advertisements. And about the game name, I plan to keep it that way because I just enrolled in the Roblox bata program so I plan to change the server size as soon as possible. And the goal is to unlock speed/hats for your worm. And do you know what platform I should be advertising to?
And the name will likely be changed back to Wacky Worms.
its not getting popular because you didn’t advertise it, if you don’t want to spend any robux advertising your game, you can try and go to group recruiting plaza and try advertising your game there.
How would I go about advertising it. And how many Robux should I put in. or do I just run small experiments to see what works best.
10,000 robux is fine, or you could put more.
the higher = more players
There’s quite a few ways to make an advertisement. Personally, I use pixlr but I’ve heard that there’s better ones. Still, pixlr is free and very easy to use. For posting your ad, there’s many tutorials on YouTube but I recommend this one for posting it once you’re done designing it. The dimensions for your ad needs to be 728 x 90 (vertical) or 160 x 600 (horizontal/banner). Here’s how to post your ad:
From the Create tab, select Experiences .
Then click the gear icon for your game and select Configure Experience.
Finally, select the Updates tab from the left side on the page.
Whenever you’re ready, then just send it.
Personally, I like to spend 1-2k on my advertisements but it’s up to you really. Don’t do too much or too little. I really hope this helps!
I wouldn’t recommend 10k all at one time unless you know your getting good click rates.
As the others said, advertisements/sponsors could help a lot.^
More things you’d have to ask yourself:
Does my game have a small community that will consistently play?
Does my game give players any incentive to play?
Is my game enjoyable enough to replay?
Am I willing to put money into advertising?
(Those are the 4 questions which i’d ask myself if you want to boost the popularity and player base of your game)
Im going to make a 1k sponsor for mobile
Honestly, it seems like it’s gaining attention by the looks of if. I feel like the thumbnails and the icon image aren’t appealing. Something you can help with this is;
The game reached above 500k visits as personally I think that is a lot for a game that looks a bit simplistic, it feels like the map was created within an hour and the game itself within a few days. It doesn’t look like someone spent their soul and heart and time into it, it feels a bit empty and not much fun to play.
There are indeed some bugs, or maybe they are ideational.
I hope I didn’t hurt your feelings, but that is my opinion.
