I have an unshown violation?

I got an email stating that I had a violation of TOS, but there were no effects on my account, nor were there any violations shown in the page they showed.

I don’t have any public experiences so I thought it was because I had an alternate account, but I didn’t have any violations nor affects there either. Can somebody help me out?

Thanks

Typically Roblox will say you have violated the TOS and what the violation was for (copyright, drugs, dating etc.).
Are you sure it was a Roblox email or did it have an odd email address?

If there are no notifications on your account it may have just been a warning.

I got it from no-reply@roblox.com, which is different from accounts@roblox.com. It also had the studio icon rather than just a roblox warning/appeal.

I didn’t get a notification, so yeah maybe it’s just a warning. It’s still odd how it didn’t say what I violated?

Maybe screenshot it and take out ALL private information like your email address and name and post it here.

I swear if I just got hacked…

Again, there weren’t any violations in that link. Also, I didn’t even know I had a violation until right now (its from Tues)

You should maybe be careful clicking on any of those links. I remember that Roblox had Reported there being a fake Roblox email, and it steals your account.
Also seems fishy that you don’t know where the violation is from, and the email is different from the usual Roblox one.

Yeah actually I think it was a warning

I was on VC with a friend and perhaps it thought we used profanities and such… IDK lol. I’ve gotten warnings before but they weren’t creator warnings (which I’m assuming this one is). Maybe for some reason they send warnings through here now (even though the violation had nothing to do with the creator side of roblox).

Thanks for being concerned lol but it’s fine

It was an email from roblox.com so it was the real deal. And if it was a compromised email sent from roblox.com, I would’ve been compromised without the need for an email.

Still good to verify the email however.

I get these sometimes often, and sometimes for older accounts I don’t even use anymore. It’s very inconvenient that they don’t say what account specifically, nor do they mention what type of violation, or anything that could be useful so that way you can know what’s wrong and that you don’t repeat it.

They are indeed real and wish they had just a tad bit more information.
