I have built a bank!

So I have been trying to get good at building…so I tried to make a bank. The first time I use almost no free models at all.

Here are a few images!

The pillars were made with blender :3

What should I improve on?

I feel that I can add more to the inside of the bank. What should I add? But for now those are a few images.

You can even rob it! You can do that here. I believe there is a bug somewhere, but I don’t think it’s too serious.

The inside of the bank seems rushed, maybe try making your own floor texture even if it’s with bricks to create a sense of a floor for more detail , the lettering also doesn’t seem right (particularly the B)

I would take a look at the bank from Madcity Or Jailbreak to see some details you can add. Other then that it looks great!

Saying it took all day you are at a average builder speed. It seems cool. Since you took a day out of your time i have to respect you for that. :+1:

Yeah I just noticed that. I think from the first angle it looks like it’s too low, I will fix that. From the front view, it looks like the letters are too close. I will fix that too. Thanks

Maybe try burrowing some free models. It seems it would look better with more models

I don’t know. The only free models are the letters, benches and the plants in the corner. And the robux/bags/gold in the vault.

I tried to use as little free models as possible, and I’ve been looking for more excuses to use blender since I’m still kinda new to using it.

What the words bank look weird, just make it a dollar sign. The inside also needs more detail.

As far as the structure goes, the shape of the building does in-fact resemble the shape of a traditional bank in games. Most banks in the real world look like normal buildings but, thats probably too much abstraction for what you’re trying to accomplish.

The bank sign is a bit too large for the size of the building and if you’re lazy like me and hate to read long words while you’re trying to vibe, a nice green money symbol should do the trick.

The massive dark grey bit which is supposed to replicate the vault is way too big and it might be better to place it underground. Speaking of underground, you should probably look into adding landscape and such to replicate the feel of your bank.

The interior is basic but, you don’t have any bankers anywhere. You have a bunch of secret service agents trying to pop a man and when he finally reaches inside, he’s going to be greeted by a fountain and rows of people that lead to nowhere. Imagine that. You get past James Bond and his homies only to find a fountain and an endless line of people going nowhere. Shoutout Javier from Red Dead 2. T’was a good man.

The actual vault looks decent but, the lasers should only be activated if the player is in a region that’s restricted. Otherwise, it looks like some sort of techno-union droid facility from star wars and honestly, we can’t support the confederacy. Not like this.

I must say, the money is very neat. Very easy to steal. I’m not sure how the money goes there in the first place but, if that sewer drain is the key to stolen goods, I guess that’s cool. You should make it more vaulty with a door that you need to access and a retinal scanner to be overly excessive but, epic at the same time.

As for the floor, I’d prefer a nice classy texture like hardwood or even tile to replicate what you’re going for. Try to modernize it a bit to fit.

All-in-all, this is a nice start. My first building was a castle and I actually lost it because of a windows 7 forced restart. Always save your stuff. Use references and create your own. Don’t give up. You’ll learn a lot of useful skills along the way. Best of luck and I hope this helps.

I got a idea. Next to the bench in fourth image add a bathroom. Also to speed up your builds i found a Plugin perfect for you that can cut out doors. Place the white line still holding the mouse and drag the other white line to carve out a door.

Change the spawn pls and thx

I spawn at the roof

I recommend changing the bank money, it looks like its a free model.

This is really cool! All you need now is a few more details on the inside and outside and this will be even better.

The back is weird looking, you should ad more details on the inside such as tellers, the door is also weird looking and the NPCs dont look alive so I dont think theyre gonna do much standing there. Pillars did not need to be made in blender as it is a basic shape  otherwise good work

I like this idea! But, I’d recommend you use plugins more because the build looks pretty bland/empty here are some links to some plugins I use!

I’d like to see more of you,

Needs more detail pretty much everywhere, add more things to fill up space and maybe more furniture, better flooring (see banks irl for an example of what i mean)

It looks pretty nice, but some more detail would be nice! Perhaps you could security cameras scattered around the building, or layer carpet and tile onto the flooring, such as having the floor be mainly tile, and having carpet paths through waiting areas or by chairs.

inside should be more like a bank, add a reception desk thing and more things/details in the bank, maybe the voult could be underground so it dosent just stick out the bank

Try to find the names of the NPCs and add a bank teller. Not the vault door or entrance there. Make it be behind a bank teller section and some maybe paints on the walls. Pretend like there is a system. People comes in, see the decorations, gets in line, goes to back teller, makes a deposit. That may help plan your layout better. Its a good start but more can be added.

Instead of straight up saying this was rushed, here’s some constructive criticism:

-I’m aware of the fact that you are trying to get better at building so keep practicing!

-Try putting a bit more detail in the sign of the bank, keep experimenting with it!

-Maybe add smaller assets to give the bank more life, (Plants, etc.)

-Mess around with different colors and materials, whatever makes you happy!

-Practice making smaller models in blender more often (just for the look of it xd)

-Last one, keep experimenting! Everyone has a start and everyone progresses, see what you can do to improve your builds like trying different build styles and such.

Other than that, keep practicing. You will get better.
